Committee Chair To Be Determined The purpose of the Safety Excellence Award is to recognize those companies who excel at safety performance. Each candidate will be examined for their commitment to safety, occupational health management and risk control. Judges will look for evidence of company management commitment, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control, and safety program innovation. CIC Dinner
Committee Chair Gloria Scrivens Event held in April each year. The chair plans a dinner party to celebrate the construction industry and recognize Crystal Vision and Achievement Awards. Requires several meetings to plan a location, speaker and get invitations out and attendance evening of the event. Girl Scout Badge
Committee Chair Jennifer Lyon Committee Chair Shannon Seipel LEED, GA Committee Chair communicates with troop leaders to plan a date and activities to help girl scouts earn their "do it yourself badge". Recruit members to help the day of the event to teach the girl scouts. NAWIC has all the supplies to do this activity. Block Kids
Committee Chair Shannon Seipel LEED, GA Committee Co-Chair Jennifer Lyon Held in February each year this is a one-day building block competition for children grades 1-6 to introduce them to the construction industry. Usually involves several meetings to plan, distribute registration forms and organize the days event, includes participation in the event. Professional Education

Committee Chair Emille Harwell This committee makes the arrangements for monthly dinner meetings, such as location, menu selection, reservations, registration, money collection, name tags, etc. Membership
Committee Chair Vickie Nickel Responsible for devising ways to increase and maintain NAWIC membership. New members are automatically a part of this committee. Committee members expand the character and network of the Chapter. Women In Construction (WIC) Week
Committee Chair Tina Davis Held each March chapters from coast to coast celebrate this week to celebrate women’s contribution to construction. Responsibilities to conduct a couple of meetings to come up with the event for the celebration and to get the word out to the membership. By-Laws
Committee Chair Pattie Pogue As necessary based on Chapter actions the committee reviews, prepares and presents amendments to Chapter Standing Rules, Policies and Procedures, and Bylaws for approval by membership. Meeting are a couple times a year to ensure we follow national revisions. Motivational

Committee Chair Stefanie Eversgerd As editor of the Chapter newsletter The Plumblines, their responsibility is to edit, publish, and distribute the Chapter newsletter before each monthly board meeting. NEF Fundraiser
Committee Chair April Ramirez This committee is responsible for promoting and publicizing programs of the Foundation. It also helps initiate programs, which will result in financial support to the Foundation within the Chapter, Region, and on a National level. Normally this person chairs the Christmas NEF Fundraiser in December. National & Regional Events
Committee Chair Anne Ruzicka This individual encourages and promotes attendance at the Annual Planning Conference, Region 6 Forum, and National Convention. Scholarship (Golf Tournament)
Committee Chair Brooke Schnurr This committee is responsible for planning and executing the Annual NAWIC Golf Classic. It’s a great one-day social event in June of every year of golf, awards and dinner. Requires several meetings and day of participation. Website/Social Media
Committee Chair Brooke Eimers Responsible for routine updates to chapter website and related social media sites. Including calendar of events, monthly membership meetings, bid invitations and upcoming events. Requires access to the internet, experience with internet based software applications and committee meetings as necessary to make improvements or major overhauls to the site. Bowling Tournament

Committee Chair Karra McGreevy Women Build is a house sponsored by habitat for humanity that is built by volunteers who are primarily women. Kansas City has chosen to offer our skills and help out his cause. This year we have chosen two Saturdays in the Fall to donate at our time. All the material, tools and jobsite foreman are provided by Habitat for Humanity. NAWIC organizes a group of volunteers to show up on the specified date. Finance
