NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF)Since its inception, NEF has focused on construction education and offers a number of certification programs (CIT, CCA & CDA) in partnership with Clemson University. In addition, the Foundation has developed several programs and competitions (CAD/Design/Drafting,Block Kids, etc.) created to foster and promote construction as a viable career choice among students from grade school to high school level.To find out more visit www.nawiceducation.org
Certification CourseIf you are interested in furthering your education, the NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF) offers several Continuing Education Courses through Clemson University in the fundamentals of construction terminology, processes, procedures and technology that provide an overview of the industry. These are typically home-study courses; however, if there is a large enough interest in a particular course at a given time, our chapter may be able to organize a structured study group to help the interested participants through the course. The certification programs include:
