The Greater Kansas City, Missouri Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1986. The purpose of the corporation is to promote and enhance the construction industry through granting of scholarship assistance to men and women pursuing academic studies in the construction-related fields. Over the last 27 years through both the NAWIC Chapter and the Foundation we have awarded more than $190,000 in scholarships. The Scholarship Foundation's main source of fundraising coincides with the Chapters' annual golf tournament. Our Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt classification from the IRS and all contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible.
