Our theme for Fall Conference is: Together We Rise: As Women. As Teams. As An Industry. In alignment with this theme, here are some key highlights of our programming:
Together We Rise as WOMEN:
Our Thursday panel will be moderated by a leading female voice in Kansas City’s Construction Industry, with women panelists from other predominately male industries. Our goal is to share and learn from women in other fields to see what they’re doing to help increase the success of women in their industries and explore how we can apply those lessons to Construction.
Together We Rise as TEAMS:
Friday’s programming (ending at Noon) will focus on strengthening our chapters through workshops and speakers who will provide inspiration and guidance to help you strengthen and/or grow your chapter boards and membership.
Together We Rise as an INDUSTRY:
We invite the broader industry to join us for Keynote Speaker, Kevin Hines. The construction industry is ranked #2 in suicide deaths, and Kevin will use his personal story to shine a light on the mental health challenges people face. Our goal for this evening is to bring the industry together to acknowledge these challenges and start meaningful conversations about how we can support one another and those we work with. If you haven’t had the chance to hear Kevin speak, I highly encourage you to check out this powerful video.
